    Hi Charlie,

    Thank you for reaching out!

Let's see what we can do with that audio.

For starters, there's a lot of background noise at the beginning of your recording, also, you could edit out those parts so your voice starts 0,5 seconds when playing your audio.

Another issue there is the hum noise on the low spectrum of your recording, en addition to that, it seems like the acoustic conditions are not favorable for you as the mic is picking up a significant room echo.

Finally, it sounds as if you're over-processing your audio, maybe a gate, or some similar plugin to edit out that background noise, but it is actually affecting your recording.

Do you think you can send us a raw recording for evaluation?

    Hi there!

Thanks so much for getting back to me. So, I have done a test version to upload here and in doing so I noticed a glitch in my software that was automatically resetting my noise gate every time I pressed record. I have no idea why, but I seem to have fixed it now. I have also tried to reduce echo. Here's a link to the recording. I haven't edited it, I've just left it exactly as is.

    Feedback greatly appreciated!

    Hi Charlie,

Thank you for doing those changes, however, it seems like we still have hiss and acoustic issues with the recording.

We think it might be a good practice to compare your audio with an approved sample of another Pro so you can hear the difference we're trying to explain to you.

Please, give this sample a listen and compare it to your, we believe it'll make things more clear for you:
