Revision Rejected

Hi all, I have a quick question about "Boxiness Feedback" I have been hammering out Speedies and Contests this week in the same recording space and while most of my readings have been accepted, I have heard boxiness feedback on two of the 9 submitted auditions.

I submit everything with flat eq (as requested) and while I can kind of hear the boxiness in the submitted file, when I equalize bass and trebble a bit, it seems to go away.

Could you listen to the attached samples, equalized and flat and give me feedback on whether I should be equalizing to help with the identified boxiness? My room is treated to the max. First file is flat and second is equalized
