    Hey, Archi!

Thanks for reaching out with such a detailed account of your issue. We're happy to help! =)

I'm quite familiar with that equipment and think that we may be able to come up with a better strategy to solve your issues.

Please record a sample and keep it raw so you can share it with us through GDrive or any similar service. Just make sure to upload it in at least 41K/16b (preferrably 48k/24b) so that I can work on it and see what can be done through a simple combination of QC pre-vetted processes. Also, please let me know what your DAW of choice is.

    Have a great weekend!

    Hi Héctor,

Thank you for getting back to me.

I've uploaded a .wav file (24b) with a reading of the sample script (no edits/ breaths out/etc.) with about 15 seconds of noise floor at the end. Let me know if that works for you. I also recorded it without the HiPass filter that's on the Avatone Mic. I mainly use Twisted Wave these days as far as DAW.

Below is the link to the GDrive File. Let me know if you have any issues accessing it.

Thank you again. I appreciate your assistance!

    Best,
    Archi

    Hey, Archi!

Thank you very much for the file and the explanation! Could you do me another big favor? I'm hearing some boxiness and I'd like to see your recording space. Please upload clear pictures of how your mic/booth are set up so that we can figure out a strategy to mitigate those first-order reverberations and help you achieve the golden sound your voice deserves.

Here's your test file processed with this FX Chain in Reaper. I'd highly recommend you upgrade your DAW to this option. Even though I gave TwistedWave a whirl in this process, I can't say I'd endorse it for pro work, especially because it lacks flexibility in the application of effects in a non-destructive manner. Also, Reaper is super affordable (even cheaper than TwistedWave), their support is more robust, and sharing things like the chain above (and applying them) is a breeze. Many pros with whom I've had the chance to interact have made the switch and seen an improvement in their workflows.

As you may be able to hear, I've managed to fix most of the sonic imbalances in your original file, but that tiny bit of boxiness is still present. Hopefully, we'll be able to eliminate it soon =)

    Cheers!
