Rejected sample submissions
Hi,
All 9 of my submissions for english male child were rejected due to room echo (reverberation) and even some with "Your sample does not reflect the age selected in the attributes" and "Your sample does not reflect the accent selected in the attributes."
While I clearly don't understand this, could you give me feedback on what I must be missing with the room echo? Also... As I didn't hear any room echo in any of these 9... There is clearly room echo in my submission which was approved. I deleted the rejected ones already, could I email them in to someone for reconsideration?
I am at a loss for words to read these were rejected for room echo while my initial "test" recording to be approved for VoiceBunny actually has clear room echo...
Thanks for reading :)

Hello John! How are you?
Thanks a lot for reaching out and being part of our community :).
Please upload some of the samples you are mentioning in the thread so I can listen to them and give you my detailed feedback on the issues they might have.
Looking forward to check your samples!
Have an excellent week.
Gabriel
Gabriel,
I am well, thanks! :)
I am not given the option to upload the files, only images or a link :(
There a couple of options you could try, the best one would be to upload the audio and pictures to a Google Drive folder, and share the link with our team so they can review it. :D
Hi,
I've also included a word document with the feedback. I initially uploaded the 9 samples but only got feedback on five of them even though they were all rejected. Thanks for helping :)

Hello John!
Thank you very much for sending the samples and the feedback!
I was listening to your samples and I can notice the reason of why those were rejected. In this case, the issue is that the samples are sounding 'boxy'. Boxiness is also a type of room echo, but what happens with boxiness is that the recordings sound as if they were recorded in a very small space.
In order to be able to give a solution to this issue you might have to adequate a little bit more the space where you are working. It's important to have in mind that as time passes, our QC standards are always on the rise so that's the reason why your initial test might got accepted at once but your samples got rejected afterwards. We are looking forward to improve the quality of our voice overs all the time and we are glad that our Pros are committed to rise the quality with us :).
If you have any doubts or have any more questions please let me know :).
Have a nice weekend!
Gabriel
Gabriel,
Thanks so much for listening! I've been having issues tweaking the space but I think I finally got it. I will try again soon :)
