rejection challenge
Hello bunny community. My speedy was rejected for the following reason:
- Your delivery is very ‘bass’ intense and that makes it sound like is over-processed.
Thank you,
The BunnyStudio QC Team
I have a naturally bass/baritone rich voice. I used zero processing. I have successfully submitted over 1,000 projects and speedies. I am requesting a second opinion as there was nothing in the instructions about "not having a deep tone." It would be great if I could get the rejection removed from my stats AND get paid for the job. Here's the link to the sound file in question.
-Thanks!
Danny

Hi Danny,
Thank you for reaching out.
Do you think you can send us the link to that project so we can evaluate and understand what happened there?
Hi, Johnatan! I put a shareable google link to the sound file above with the original message.
-Danny
Thank you for that, Danny.
But we're referring to the link to the project, so we can better understand the rejection reason and talk with the QC agent who rejected your work.
Do you think you can help us with that?
Hey guys, any news on this?

Thank you, Danny.
We got a second opinion from another member of the QC team and we agreed to removed that rejection from your stats.
We appreciate your help and patience in this matter :D
Have a great day
Hey Johnatan! That's awesome. What would be even more awesome is if I can still get paid for that? As it was no fault of my own based on your guidelines. Outside of that it's kinda like taking money out of my pocket. So, I guess, I am humbly and officially asking to still be paid for that. Thanks for the consideration. You guys have always been extremely fair. However, this has happened several times now.
Hi Danny,
We did review the possibility of giving you credit for that submission, however, please remember that we only pay for submissions approved by our Quality Control team.
Also, keep in mind that we removed this rejection after asking for a second opinion from another QC member, a process that doesn't happen often as we don't usually review this kind of rejection.
We appreciate your kindness and understanding in this matter.
Hi again Johnatan. Ok, well by reversing your rejection of my submission, that is saying, "Our QC member was wrong." And you are in essence saying, "This submission should not have been rejected and should have been accepted." So, you are willing to remove my rejection for stats purposes but not pay me for my successful work?
In my opinion this is sending a message to other bunny pros that they may not be justly rewarded for their work. I'd like an additional inquiry into being paid for a submission that you concede should have passed your QC. When I am at fault I do not get paid. When I submit an audio clip that you admit should have passed, I should get paid. But, you are saying that you are not willing to pay me for my submission, that, after further review, passed QC. We all, including yourselves, want to be fairly compensated and not penalized for work that meets your guidelines. Right?
Thanks for reconsidering this matter. It is much appreciated!
-Danny
Hi Danny,
We want you to keep in mind that we don't usually review these kinds of rejections from our QC team, however, knowing your case and our relationship we decided to take another look.
Doing that doesn't mean that we think our QC agent was wrong, in fact, this was one of those borderline cases where, as humans, we could go either way. Based on your work with us, and knowing the quality you always deliver, we decided to remove this project from your stats. But as mentioned before, we don't usually do something like this, and we wanted to have this token of appreciation with you.
That being said, after discussing this with the team, we'll keep the project out of your stats, but we won't be able to issue payment for this submission.
Now that you have a clearer picture of what happened, we are counting on your kindness and understanding in this matter.
All the best
Thanks Johnatan. Sounds like we'll have to agree to disagree on this one and just move on. Thanks for your response.
-Danny
Sounds good. Let's move on and keep doing that amazing work you always do!
Always a pleasure
