Audition rejected for "loud background noise"
I just had my audition recording rejected due to "loud background noise": "Hi, Thank you for your submission; we greatly appreciate your effort. Unfortunately, we have found the following issue(s) in your recording: 1.) Background noise- Loud background noise is impacting your recording and adversely affecting the quality of the deliverable. It could be coming from a fan. Make sure to record at an appropriate distance from any noise source or power off if possible. Please revise and resubmit so that we may proceed with the comprehensive screening of your audio. . ."
I recorded this in a good studio on good equipment and I don't hear any background noise. Given the adjective "loud" being used, I assume I am missing something obvious. Can someone please help me understand what specifically is meant by "loud background noise" on this sample?

Hi Matt,
I had one of our QC agents reviewing your file.
He mentioned it does have some background noises, but the most important things are plosives, it seems you could've done better work there.
With this in mind, would you like to come up with new audio for evaluation?
Is it fair to ask whether that is all that is preventing me from getting approved and being likely to get assignments?
I've done a little voice over work before but mainly because I wrote the script, it was a rush job, and the client said they liked my voice so, "why don't you just do it?" I don't consider myself a truly experienced or professional voice talent.
I'm willing to take another crack at this but I'm open to a blunt assessment as to whether it would be a good use of my time.
Sure thing, Matt.
As long as you can work on those minor issues mentioned by our team member, you should be good to go.
