late night room echo strikes again
What's going on night crew? I continue to get rejected only at night by Hiroshi for "room echo".
I'm using the same equipment, same professional studio that I recorded the other 4 spots I did today for this site. At least tonight I was given a chance at a revision instead of a flat rejection as has happened several times in the past.
So tonight after getting a revision request I switched mics turned the gain way down added extra unnecessary acoustic treatment, cranked it through my Beyer Dynamics using Abbey Road Suite in Waves/Logic. Same system I produce spots daily for radio and television broadcast. Can't hear nothing. Its like a -80 noise floor. Eq is set for the room. No echo here. So what in my 20 years broadcasting experience am I missing?
