Test retake is not available
Hello team,
I have started a test to join the team about 2 months ago, I didn't meet the deadline for the test revision because the revision required acoustic treatment to my studio, which I couldn't make instantly.
My home studio now is well treated, and I'll be able to meet all the deadlines.
I have requested a reconsideration to apply again but got a rejection message without letting me try again.
So please reconsider giving me a new chance.
I'll be waiting for your reply.
Kind regards.

Hi there!
Sure we'll help you with that!
But before we move forward with it we'd love to give you feedback about your current quality, to help increase your chances of getting accepted.
How would you feel about sending us a recording for evaluation?
Hi Johnatan,
Thank you for your quick response.
Here you can find the required sample in the following link:

I'll be waiting for your feedback.
Best regards.
Hi again,
We had one of our Quality Control members evaluate your file and this is what we got:
The volume is too low. I also notice lots of breath noises and background noises on the pauses.
We highly suggest you work on these issues prior to asking for reconsideration, that way you'll be increasing your chances of getting approved.
Let me know your thoughts.
Hi Johnatan,
This record is "Dry" there are no edits or applied effects (noise gate, noise reduction, compression, etc).
It meant to be without effects (and I didn't cut any breaths) to measure the room eco and noise.
In the first 5 seconds, the room noise, is -57 dB, without noise reduction process applied.
The average of the volume is -21 to -15 dB, as there is no applied compression and the peak should be -6 dB to avoided clippings, and so it's not too low.
If you need a treated/processed record, "Wet record", please let me know.
I'll be waiting for your response.
Kind regards.
Thanks for that,
May we suggest you work on editing the breath noises, as well as those background noises that come up during the breaks?
Also, keep in mind that we expect the volume to be normalized around -3dB Peak.
Please, work on these suggestions and come back with new audio for evaluation, we'll be waiting for you
Thank you for the explanation.

Hi Mohamed,
Thank you for that!
I shared it with one of our QC members and this is what we got:
There is a bit of room echo, as well as some boominess.
Do you have our articles that might help you with those minor issues?
Hi Johnatan,
Thank you for your feedback.
It would be so helpful if you pass me these articles' links.
Thanks.
Sure thing, here they are:
Acoustics
Give it a read and try to apply some of those suggestions :D
