Made suggested changes--audio still has hissing and echo. Help!
Here is a copy of the 2nd submission after I moved the laptop outside of the room and followed suggestions for preventing mouth noises. I am very much open to purchasing new equipment, treating the space better, etc. but 1) need help on what home equipment you'd suggest to purchase and 2) if there's a way to get my current mic and interface to work until I purchase those new items I'd love to know. I'd like advice on both please.
Here's the recording:

Hi Tamika,
Thank you very much for sharing this with us.
Our team liked it very much!
A small thing to change and you should be good to go. How do you feel about working on your breaths? It seems they are a bit distracting, we suggest you edit those and send us a new file for evaluation.
Looking forward to it :D
Hey, Jonathan. Thanks for your prompt response. I will definitely re-do it and end over to you guys. What about the echo and hissing that was mentioned in the feedback?
Hello Tamika, how are you??
Hope you are having an amazing weekend so far. I was listening to your audio and certainly there are some issues on regards acoustics and slight hiss in your recording. Would you mind uploading a couple of pictures to see if we can suggest you something specifically for your recording space?
Also, on regards the slight hiss, please tell me which equipment are you using in order to see if the setup should be just fine and maybe what is needed is a little bit of tweaking when recording :). You should be aware that the best way to prevent this issue is recording setting a level in your pre-amp or audio interface so that the volume in your DAW is peaking around -6dBFs when recording. Then you should normalize to -3dBFs.
Looking forward to hear from you :)
Thanks a lot for reaching out and have an amazing weekend.
Gabriel
