Is it just me?
I'm struggling a little in trying to understand this - it seems like there's nothing I can do, but if anyone has any other ideas, I'd love to hear them.
Here's the issue:
For the last couple days, I've finally been seeing speedys pop up on my dashboard. Cool. So I try to grab them, but they're never 'assignable' when I get to the end of the countdown. 'Okay,' my brain says to me, 'maybe I just need to be quicker on the draw - I have super fast internet so it's not that, I'll just have to hover and click when the job appears.'
So that's exactly what I do. I click those jobs before the sound even plays. I scroll down like the wind and hit that orange button. I hover over 'yes, accept project' until the instant the countdown's done and I can accept. I accept. And wait, in quiet anticipation.
Nope. Not assignable.
During the time I've been typing this, that sound played three times and I jumped over to that tab thinking that 'maybe this time I won't be disappointed,' but like a bad romantic partner, the site continues to get my hopes up only to let me unceremoniously down immediately thereafter.
So I put this to you, community, staff... anyone...
Is there something I can do? Or am I just destined to think 'maybe it'll be different this time,' and be let down again. And again. And again...
Also want to add that I keep getting emails for projects that aren't actually appearing on my dashboard. They're all speedys, and none of them are available. Yesterday I got 49 (forty-nine!) of them in my inbox, but only about thirty appeared on my dashboard - none of which, of course, I could accept in spite of my attempts.

Hi Micah,
Thank you very much for reaching out and letting us know about your situation.
We want you to know that our system sends projects in batches to all of our Pros, it is very likely that due to your current stats and rates, you may receive those invitations a bit later than other Pros.
Here we have an article that might help you out improve your chances of getting invited: Click me for the article
Let me know what you think
Hey Jack. Thanks for sharing - I thought it was just me. I've had the same concern and noticed that the time stamp on the accepted Speedy appears to precede the arrival in my mailbox and I don't know what to make of it! I recently stared down a Speedy that I thought might become available again and it did - still couldn't grab it. It feels like luck of the draw, but I've been extremely unlucky, but will keep at it. Also, I worry a bit that there is no time to review to see if it's actually a good match - so there's that element of rolling the dice and winding up with a gig that you don't enjoy so much. (I once lost a Speedy by taking time to read the details. Not an option!) Anyway, great chat. Cheers!
