New Ribbon Mic - reaction, please.
Good day or evening as the case may be,
After several posts, I am still working to produce an acceptable screening file. A booth has been built, new preamp built (a nice kit) and new editing skills explored.
Now I have just finished building a new ribbon microphone designed to emulate the sound of the classic RCA 44-BX. I would like you to evaluate it, please -- and the recording in general. With my Sony MDR-7506 "cans" I can detect no hum or hiss -- but y'all seem to be able to sniff out digital junk that is completely inaudible to these old, analog ears. So, I would certainly appreciate feedback and -- eventually -- acceptance into the Bunny warren.
Here's the ribbon mic file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1P_A5c5q0jNW99ZujBJk4a_9ffBih8uix/view?usp=sharing
Thank you again,
Craig
