Request Feedback on Audio
Hi,
Requesting feedback on audio quality. There are two submissions below. The first was rejected due to hiss and reverb. I took time to isolate the hiss, and did audio measurements to get RT30 below 0.2s above 70 Hz. The second was rejected with the standard 'not recorded on professional equipment' which is not correct.

Hi Darryn,
Thank you for using this space!
We shared your samples with our QC agents and we got this feedback:
May we suggest dialing back the threshold on your processing, as well as taking this feedback into consideration, and sending us new audio for evaluation?
Looking forward to your reply
Hi Johnatan,
Thanks for your feedback. I have worked on acoustic treatment and have a updated test for your review. I have used no processing at all.

Hi Darry,
Thank you for this new submission, I shared it with the team and they replied with this:
Thank. I have done another take, adjusting interface gain to get a louder signal. I have managed my breaths and applied soft editing.
Have a listen.

Hi Darryn,
Thank you for that.
This one is sounding much better! You're doing an amazing job.
There's one minor detail, seems like at 0:04 is something odd, sounds like a small glitch. Do you think you can double-check on that and send us the final version?
Other than that, you're rocking it!
Hi Johnatan,
That's great to hear.
I have fixed the issue. Here is the final version. https://1drv.ms/u/s!Alde15LbTB5oxUkVWSvUNy8Heoi_?e=yuOruu

Hi Darryn!
I was giving a listen to your samples, and it's great to hear the improvements! I would only recommend being very careful with the gain of your interface because currently, the audio sounds good but a tiny bit "hot," which means that if you record something that requires you to speak louder, you could get some distortion. If you want, you could give this article a look to see some of the QC guidelines taken into account when auditions and projects are reviewed.
Kind regards
Daniel
