Hello Joan, and welcome to our community!

For sure! We can help you reviewing your samples and giving as much feedback as you want here!

To begin, could you share the application sample with us? You can use a cloud service like Dropbox or Google Drive and share the link here.

    Looking forward to hearing it!

    Kind regards,

    Daniel

    Hi Daniel!

Thank you so much for offering to help! So first, here's the audio file of my contest entry that got rejected:

And for comparison, here are some of my previous projects and samples that have been approved by the Bunny Team (all of which were recorded with the same equipment and studio space):

Let me know what you think is different about these samples, and how you think I could make sure all my future recordings are up to the professional standard. Thanks again!

    Hello again Joan!

I just gave a listen to all your samples and I definitely think that the levels and sound signature are perfectly fine, but the one issue I agree with is the room echo. The last 3 files you shared sound much drier, without room sound, while the first one does have some room echo. Did you change anything on your acoustic setup for that specific recording?

    Kind regards,

    Daniel

    Hi again Daniel,

As far as I'm aware, the recording space itself stayed the same. The only things about my recording setup that may have changed were my distance from the mic (I backed off of it a bit because I was hearing a lot of mouth sounds as I was recording), and the actual placement of my equipment on the table in front of the mic (my laptop, audio interface, etc.) was slightly different from how I've had it before.

But I'll make some test recordings and play around with my space a bit, and see if I can add some more materials to help reduce room echo.

Thank you so much for your feedback!

    Best,
    Joan

    Hi Joan!

That sounds good! Remember that if you want to share any of the new samples here I can give them a listen again and help you with anything else that you need.

    Kind regards,

    Daniel
