    Hello Natalie!

I'm Daniel and I will be helping you with feedback and advice with your sound and setup. To begin, I would appreciate if you could upload the sample you sent in your application to a cloud service like Dropbox or Google Drive and share a link to the file here so we can review it together.

    Looking forward to it!

    Regards

    Daniel

    Good evening Daniel.

I took your advice. It's been a while working with

Dropbox, but hopefully I did this correctly.

    Thanks again!

    Hello again Natalie!

I just shared your recording with the QC team, and this is what they said:

The main issues to solve at first would be the room echo present in the recording and the background noise floor that can be heard, probably from a computer fan spinning. There are some great tips on acoustic treatment on our community page: https://bit.ly/2MrNsSV.

You can give that article a look, and if you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

    Kind regards

    Daniel

    Thanks again.

    Hello again Natalie!

I just gave those tests a listen, and the first one is the one that sounds best!

It does seem like the volume is a bit low though, we recommend normalizing at -3dB Peak, you could give that a try!

Also, there seems to be a bit of hiss/white noise, but if you record with a higher mic gain you could avoid this issue while increasing overall volume.

You can give those tips a try and upload the samples again so we can keep working on your sound!

    Kind regards,

    Daniel
