Total breakdown in your standards
Alright… I have MANY issues with the all-around experience I just had with this site. Your “Pro’s” are in need of some serious training. Let me start with the fact that I have done 4 bookings this past couple of weeks with ZERO issues… just a couple revisions requested from the clients for inflection or minor pronunciation issues, no technical… but all reasonable, and... I oblige free of charge.. because I am a pro. Tonight though… I have been put through the ringer.
I am working on 2 bookings… for the 1st one I was contacted by Juan Camilo Cardona… (one of your account managers)?? stating that a client that recently booked me and wanted to use my services again, but since the last use I adjusted my rates up and they were afraid that their budget would not allow them to use me. Juan requested I lower my rates back down so that they could use my services again… I obliged after inquiring how large the script was. Juan stated it was 157 words so I went into my profile and adjusted accordingly. With THAT adjustment I realized that Voicebunny takes 66% of the fee?!?!? THAT I was NOT aware of… but beyond that... for this project, I KEPT getting sent revision requests because of “room echo”?? IMPOSSIBLE! After the 1st request… I re-recorded (just because) even though I didn’t think there was an issue so it was more of a pacifier… well.. it was rejected again… for ROOM ECHO. The interesting issue with that is I took a break from THAT project and did a different Booking that I received… guess what?? NO ISSUES. I was accepted by both QC AND the client! Maybe, JUUUST maybe the fact that the WORD echo was in my script a few times, your pro was subliminally biased and THOUGHT they were hearing echo… It is the ONLY explanation I can come up with.
The bottom line is… I adjusted my rates DOWN for this client only to realize how much I am being ripped off and then I was forced to re-read the script FOUR TIMES!! Because your pro was having a bad night and was hearing things... I basically did this for free based on the amount of time I invested AFTER lowering my rates and having bunnies chew away 66% of what I SHOULD have made!!
NOT GOOD guys…. NOT GOOD.

First of all, I’m really sorry about that frustrating experience, let’s go over it and see if we can manage to make it less uncomfortable.
Could you share the project link with me? I would like to share it with the QC team in order to give them some feedback about it since we are constantly aligning and refining our QC standards. On the other hand, regarding the fees, rest assured that it was a pretty uncommon case, we don’t usually have requests from our clients to lower our Pros rates, so that should not happen under normal conditions.
Regarding the markup and rates, we want you to know that our system calculates rewards based on 100% of the rates set by the Pros, also taking into account flexibility (i.e. projects that pay 60% of your rates or more). The markup is always added on top of the Pro’s rates. That way we can assure you we are paying you what you know is fair for your work.
