revisions or rejections from the Quality Control team
Hi, I´m Claudia Castillejos.
I received an email to tell me that some of my projects were rejected because of their quality, as it echoes.
I think it's because when I received it I recorded it at home and not in the studio. The ceilings there are very high and that probably causes the echo.
I work in a professional recording studio, but since I receive the projects at times when I am not in the studio, I do have to edit it.
Also, they sent me three supposedly rejected links and it's only one that is:
1. https://bunnystudio.com/projects/267da807-1b3b-4516-910f-a83d56e8ac51 , 2. https://bunnystudio.com/projects/f3ed73af-7bd6-418d-a9c8-2dda569acda1/ and 3. https://bunnystudio.com/projects/897c359c-df9b-4f7f-8eab-4ac2c4f6157e/

Indeed, the only one that has room echo is the first recording. However, the other two sound overprocessed, which is likely the reason they were sent to you.
Regarding the room echo, I suggest finding a way to reduce it, either by using some absorbent material or even placing blankets around the microphone to prevent capturing wall reflections. You could also consider using a device like the Kaotica Eyeball (https://www.kaoticaeyeball.com/).
The other two recordings sound heavily processed with some kind of de-noiser or de-reverb. I recommend applying a less aggressive processing approach to maintain a more natural sound. Some clients associate excessive processing with artificial voices, which is why we aim for a more natural result.
We look forward to your feedback.
Best regards,
Steven.
