In praise of QC
Hi. I've been a Bunny Pro for over 2 years now and have had my share of conflicts with QC.
Today, though, I want to take a second and praise the QC department.
This morning I got a series of 4 Direct Bookings, that totaled 13,345 words, and all totaled was in 89 parts. It took ALL day to do this massive project.
QC had to listen to ALL that audio. And this was complicated finance stuff, prepping wealth management students for an exam they're about to take so they can go work with the wealthy 1% of people around the world. Terms I've never heard of. And lots of things I had to Google to find out how to say them and what they were.
To my credit there were only 6 revisions (for either leaving words out or saying the wrong word) in all 89 parts. But I want to take a moment and say THANK YOU to whomever was working in QC today. You lived through that project with me, and helped me catch things that my eyes (after 9+ hours) just couldn't catch.
At 13,345 words I basically recorded a short audiobook today, and you guys listened to every word of it.

This is awesome, and I couldn't agree more with the sentiment, Wayne!
You know, the QC team has essentially taken me to school on all things technical audio, and that is kind of an unheard of thing in this industry.
I tell everyone that the feedback that the Bunny Studio QC has given me has single handedly made me a better voice actor, audio engineer, and all around artist.
And when it comes to checking big projects...
Yeah, I am handling a 15 hour audiobook right now and sifting through looking for errors is... time consuming, to say the least! It would be nice to have the QC team helping me with this, but between me, the author, and publisher we will get it done... eventually... 😅
I am beginning to shift back to commercial work in hopes of being of most service to the industry, as I had the most success there over the past 5 years, and so today I am beginning to restock my Bunny Studio profile with new samples for clients to consider booking me!
I wouldn't have the confidence to move forward with my newly learned advanced techniques if it wasn't for Bunny Studio QC team always having my back - even at times when my ego gave a hard time when hearing how to improve.
