Rejection for room echo... i don't hear the problem... help me please !
ello, Following my test to integrate the Bunny Studio Voice Over catalog, I got a first rejection about the "plosives" and also the room echo. For my second deliverable, there were no more problems with plosives but still echo. This surprises me, because I treated the piece acoustically for the second send. I don't really hear an echo in the "send" sound. Can you help me by specifying the problem PRECISELY. What is heard? At what moment ? What is embarrassing? Thank you very much for your response which will help me move forward!

I was checking your file and the echo mentioned is not necessarily the usual type of room echo (reverberation) but it more in line with something we call "boxiness", which refers to near-field reflections that can be caused by hard surfaces close to the mic (for example a table, a computer screen, an untreated piece of wall, ceiling or even floor). I think that maybe some pics of your recording space could help me give you some extra tips on how to get rid of those reflections. You can also try to add some extra treatment on sections that you consider that could be creating those reflections and sharing a new file with us if you want!

Congratulations, whichever changes you made definitely helped a lot with the previous issue, you even addressed a bit of low-end resonance that was present in the previous file!

As for the modifications, I simply decided to create a "cage" made of materials that absorb sound. This test confirms to me that this is the correct method.
