The rates page doesn't make sense
I am confused about how to price my work based on your word count.
1. 50 words should not require 30 seconds. I routinely do 75 to 80 words in 30 seconds for clients.
2. 500 words in 1 minute is unreasonable. 150 to 180 words in 1 minute is about right.
3. 5000 words in 4 minutes? You must be kidding. 5000 words is closer to 35 minutes of audio.
4. 50000 words in 6 hours. I can do that. ACX says that 9300 words is about an hour of finished audio so 50000 words is about 5.5 hours of audio.
My question is should I charge based on 1 minute of audio or 500 words is is simply not possible? Should I charge based on 4 minutes of audio or 5000 words? Do clients see a similar chart and are expecting 500 words in 1 minute, etc.?
Please correct your chart so that I can price my work appropriately.
Thanks.

Hello Tom,
Thanks for reaching out and thanks for the feedback!
We do agree that the pricing does not reflect the reality for some of those points, especially for the 500 and 5000-word ones.
At the moment, our advice is to set up your rates according to word count only and not time, (since clients are charged by word count as well), so that should be the best way to set those rates to your usual preferred ones and make sure that any future projects match your desired rates.
Sorry for this situation, I will bring this feedback again to our team, and let me know if I can help with anything else!
Kind regards,
Daniel
It's been a month but this 'issue' still persists. Any update?
