Project accepted went to backup talent
Hi,
I regularly receive projects in the middle of the night when I cannot accept them straight away. I get a lot of reminder emails but today was the worst. Less than 24h after the project was assigned to me, it went to a talent who submitted a backup audition. That wouldn't be too much of a problem (although PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do something about timezones...) IF I hadn't already ACCEPTED the project, recorded it and was in the process of editing it when I noticed it was gone from my page. How is that possible???? I will not get the money for this, I lost time recording it on an already busy day AND I probably lost a regular client. This is not acceptable!!
Can you do something about this?
AG
PS: While I'm at it, why are the backup rates so much higher than the hired talent rates?

Hello Aurore,
Thanks for reaching out!
I apologize for the experience with the platform, those backup projects are automatically created, and if the client is in a rush, they might choose one of the backup talents instead.
If you want, please share with me the original booking link and I can check it and see if there is anything there that we might need to ignore from your stats so it doesn't affect your numbers.
Regarding your timezones comment, we have requested a "working hours" feature that is being considered and that could help solve this issue, stay tuned for that update!
And finally, regarding the question about the reward for backup projects being higher, this usually happens since those backups projects are paid out of pocket by us with the aim of fulfilling the client request, and the reward is set higher than usual to make it more appealing for talents and, in turn, have the backup project ready quicker.
Let me know if I can help with anything else, and again, sorry for that experience with us.
Kind regards,
Daniel
Hi Daniel and thanks for your reply.
The project link is this one: https://bunnystudio.com/voice/projects/#/timeline/5583E77B27317519C0BB?version=default and yes, if you can remove it from my stats, I would be very grateful!
This working hours update would save me a lot of headaches, a lot of spam in my mailbox and would save Bunny some money (these backup projects must be quite costly!) so I hope it comes soon. Another solution would be to allow the Bunny Pro to accept the project and give an expected completion time. When I receive projects at 11pm with a deadline 6h hours later, I see them but cannot work on them until the next day so I wait for the morning to accept but by then, the backup is already created! Just allowing me to say "Yes, I have seen this project and will work on it. I will deliver it in 12h" for example, would be much better than the current system!
Regards,
AG
Hello Aurore,
Thanks for the awesome ideas and feedback! I will surely bring them to the Product team :)
Regarding the project, I have ignored it from your stats since it was a timezone issue, and for now, while the "working hours" feature is built, my recommendation when you have a new project that you can only complete a bit later is to send us a message at support@bunnystudio.com with that info, so our Project management team knows about the situation and the expected time of completion on your end.
Let me know if I can help with anything else!
Kind regards,
Daniel
