Adding notes to audio files when submitting to clients
Hello! I would like to add a suggestion to the list. I'm not sure if its been mentioned already, but I'll go ahead with it!
I would love the opportunity to add comments to my audio files when submitting them to clients. I do understand that VB is trying to limit our communication with the clients, however, having the ability to communicate with clients in regards to questions we have on the scripting or clarification on revisions etc, would be extremely helpful, and potentially limit the number of rejected projects and revisions the VO Talent and VB have. I feel communication is very important when it comes to making sure that the customer is satisfied with the audio file, but if we aren't able to communicate at all, it hinders our ability as the VO talent to make sure we have 100% understanding of what the client wants. I have had a few clients who reply to revisions with comments or send me booking requests, but because I can't communicate with them to get better clarification on questions I may have, I feel I am left to hope I am providing the work they are looking for and wait to see if there will be another revision request with more clarity.
I believe if someone has a suggestion or problem, they should also come with a possible solution, so here is my idea to address it. When attaching audio files to the projects (and this is only for actually booked work and not auditions), we should have a comments box just like the clients do. If the clients are able to send comments to us through bookings and revisions, we should be able to have that same ability and format for better communication. Again, I know the concern is VB not wanting us communicating with the client so, but since our audio has to get approved by the QC team anyways, they can always scan to make sure the comment provided by the VO Talent is appropriate and doesn't violate any TOS. I have noticed in the past, when a client comments with personal information such as personal contact phone numbers, emails e.t.c, we receive those comments with those particular areas hidden with red x's. You could also do the same for our comments too if thats a concern.
It would be great if this was something that could be looked into further about possibly doing as I feel that it would only benefit all 3 parties, the client, VB and the VO Talent. It would help in making sure that the end results for the projects being submitted to the client are going to deliver the best experience and satisfaction.

I will forward this info to the team :) I do know that a chat feature is being tested and considered, so this could materialize on a future release since we do agree that communication is key in order to fulfill projects in the best way.
