Progress! but still rejected, this time for 'boxiness'
Hello all!
I've been working at trying to dial in my recording and this the third time I've auditioned for Bunny Studio. The first two times I was rejected for room noise, so after doing some research and upgrading my space a little bit it seems like I've finally dialed that in a bit (I hope). I say I hope because this third audition wasn't rejected due to 'room echo' this time, instead it was 'boxiness' that "could be caused by recording in a very small space. So I wanted to share my recording space/setup and my latest attempt, ask a few questions, and see if anyone has any ideas for me. I think I hear what specifically BS is speaking to, I'm just hoping I can do something to my existing space without having to come up with another alternative.
The dimensions of the office are around 3 1/2 ft. deep x 3 feet wide and around 7 feet tall (the ceiling is higher, but I have super comfy pillows up there :) to help block some of the reverberations)

Here is the recording for my third audition that was rejected yesterday for boxiness: https://drive.google.com/file/d/178BC_Sk2EgSUwagXXVppMihBnpyGbljb/view?usp=sharing
This was recorded with my gain set to, I think, 7 out of 10. This final version had noise reduction added and normalization to -3.0dB, that's it.
Here are my specific questions:
1. Since no mention was made regarding the room echo or reverberations, can I assume that I have done enough to meet that level of quality?
2. As you can see, I'm using the Kaotica Eyeball around my Blue Yeti X mic. In a treated space (albeit not professionally treated) could the eyeball actually have a negative effect on the recording? Could it contribute to whatever the boxiness is? It dawned on my this morning that I haven't tried recording without it on since sound dampening the recording space. (duh...)
3. Could this be the best I can get from my Blue Yeti X Mic? My podcast co-host has a Shure XLR mic that he said I could try out, thoughts on whether that might up the quality?
4. I've gotten good feedback in the past regarding my delivery, so I'm hoping that is still up to snuff. However, one annoyance I do have is that with each rejection comes a single piece of feedback to work on. If my first attempts failed because of room echo and room echo alone, that's fine, but with no additional feedback regarding any other element of the recording, it's difficult to identify where the overall quality really is. So my question is, is there any additional feedback regarding the recording? Note: I'm working on mouth noises, or at least trying to be more cognizant of them.
Thank you ahead of time! I look forward to your responses.

Thank you Hiroshi! This is fantastic feedback. I'll try out your suggestions, and have done everything but push the "buy" button on the new mic and pre-amp. The additional feedback regarding the room echo, mouth noise, and other general thoughts are also extremely helpful. It makes me feel like I'm closer than I was giving myself credit for. Thank you again for taking the time. When I have things all situated, I'll upload a new file and see what happens!
