inconsistant quality control
The other night I did two Speedies. One, was accepted first try the other rejected (revision was subsequently rejected) for "boxiness" same space same editing (although two different style of reads). I hear no perceptible "boxiness" so I'd like a second opinion, and I'd love to be paid, but am far more concerned about my stats being effected for a year based on one person's opinion. They'd already rejected the pro before me twice too. Makes me question the quality of their headphones.
P.S. I have the links to the two Speedies if needed.

Hi Lorin,
Thanks for reaching out to us here!
Yes, if you could send links to the Speedy projects that would be great.
Kind regards,
Samantha
Did you receive the links?
Hi Lorin,
For some reason, your reply didn't appear and had to be reviewed first by an admin. They also don't seem to be links that work. However, I did take the liberty to find the projects myself copying the titles you provided.
Just to double-check, these are the projects you're talking about?

For the one titled: One Day to MBA-2021 9b11f205-3596-4214-8144-02fc58e49da6
There is some slight boxiness present, it sounds like this could be due to hard surfaces close by reflecting frequencies. Which could consist of tabletop, script stand, microphone stand, etc.
However, it's really not too bad.
It is in that gray area of being accepted or rejected by QC... So, if you implement some more acoustic treatment to your recording space this should prevent any further near-field reflections which could be interfering with your audio.
I also listened to your audio which was accepted as it sounded rather peculiar that with the same setup, one was accepted and the other rejected. Listening to that one, titled: CARTI - BROOKLYN- AD f51e508a-ceca-4845-b3f2-f11ba5d986c0
The performance sounds like it is a lot more closer to your mic, which adds to my assumption there are hard surfaces close by.
If you wish, you could send some pictures of your recording space and I can offer guidance on where you could implement further acoustic treatment in your setup?
But honestly, your quality sounds good. Just a little bit more acoustic treatment would help.
You should have received an email saying that this rejection has been removed from your stats, which will update your stats within 24 hours. As I felt this seemed fair given your situation here.
Finally, great job on both your recordings! Loved your contrasting deliveries!
Keep up the fantastic work!
All the very best,
Samantha
