Rejection for sounding boxy
Hi y'all,
Ive been getting some feedback about my studio sounding boxy, which hasn't been an issue with my other clients. i tried to attach a picture of my set up but its not working; its a rode mic with focusrite and duel screens, the walls are insulated on both sides and the back and am ordering more foam to fill in slight gaps. any advice on how to avoid the boxiness rejection would be helpful or what i can move around etc.
Cheers!

Hi Justin, thanks for reaching out!
It would be nice if you share with us some samples of your work to take a listen and have a better understanding of the situation. If you have problems attaching the files, you can use google drive or some storage service to share the audios as well as the photos of your set up.
Generally speaking, the boxiness can be caused by some reflexions of hard surfaces like walls, desks, windows, etc, so you should avoid face the mic to any of this surfaces.
I'll be waiting for your samples and photos to help you improve your quality.
Best regards,
Steven Cifuentes.
