Impossible Speedies
What is the trick?? I am sitting on top of my project page and clicking the accept buttons nearly instantly. I even have my mouse hovering over the spot where it appears, yet.. the project is not available or it is already completed. I know I know... Get a wired internet with higher speed. DONE. I have even experimented with different browsers (fire fox, Chrome, explorer) and it is the same... nothing, always late to the game. When I look back through the e-mails I see it is the SAME PRO that is getting ALL the speedies. How is this possible? There are days when I will get 20 to 30 notifications within a couple of hours and I miss out on EVERY ONE to the same pro. How is it possible to "win" all these speedies when logically... it is hard to accept if you are also recording at the time... unless this person has someone dedicated to just clicking the accept buttons for them and is working on commission. I have asked this before and can never get a response. C-Mon pro's.... what is the trick??

We're sorry to hear you haven't been able to accept projects lately.
We reviewed your stats and found that you are ranking in the bottom 48% of successful Speedies, which means you are likely not in the first batches of invitations.
This would explain why other Pros are able to accept Speedies before you - as they are likely ranking higher and receiving the invitations sooner.
In any case, please send us at least 2 project IDs for Speedies that were accepted by this Pro you reported so we can investigate if there were any technical problems.
We could also try to help improve your stats so you can rank higher and receive invitations sooner. Please send us the IDs for the projects in which you received rejections and we'll review them to see if it's possible to ignore them from your stats.

I realize where I rank as I am constantly trying to improve that ... but, how is one supposed to improve their rankings if they are basically excluded from participating? It seems the speedies are unfairly weighted as I see 20 or 30 awarded within an hour to one particular pro in the mornings when I try and in the afternoons it seems weighted toward a different pro as THAT pro seems to be prevalent on the 20 or more speedies that come through in the afternoon hour when I attempt to click in. There are times I note that the speedies are "released a few seconds" ago and I cannot accept them fast enough... other times I see they were released "one or 2 minutes ago" and although futile, I try again... but it seems ALWAYS losing out to the same pro's. Rarely do I see other pros on these projects so I am sure I am not the only one frustrated. I don't think I would be nearly as frustrated if I saw a mixture of pro's on these rapid-fire projects but when it is the same one over and over again (as others might be seeing as well) WITHIN AN HOUR it has the perception of an uneven playing field when it is awarded to the SAME PRO. It seems the only speedies I am able to actually "win" come through in the middle of the night when I happen to be awake... sometimes 2 or 3 in the morning.... id rather be sleeping, to be honest... but it is what it is.
I appreciate your generosity in improving my stats but I have only ever had 3 rejections of my work in speedies... and 2 of those were over a year ago. The only other one rejected was about 7 months ago and it was stated that none of those would affect my stats as they ALL were rejected for other reasons... not due to poor quality or client rejection. Logic states I am low ranking NOT because of rejections... but because of lack of opportunity to improve, and not without tremendous effort. But here are the 2 that were rejected over a year ago,

I appreciate the time you took to detail the issue and will forward the projects you sent to the engineering team to investigate if there could be anything creating an advantage for the respective Pro.
Your stats only take into account projects completed in the last year, so the ones you sent shouldn't be affecting them. In any case, I have ignored them from your stats.
I took it upon myself to review your completed projects in the last year and found a few that were rejected within that timeframe.

Again, Thank you for all the help, but unfortunately, nothing improved. The past 2 days I made an effort to be available for the speedies that have come through. I must say that no fewer than 30 or more opportunities came my way each day and I was about as quick on the mouse button that you could be... all with a net ZERO effect. I seem to lose out to the same pro's again and again. I have wired internet connection and ultra-fast internet speed (400 MPS) Needless to say it is pretty frustrating. To me it is a huge waste of time and completely clutters up my e-mail. I still do not understand how the same pro's are able to get through so quickly time and time again. The speedies that I do seem to win (very few and FAR between) typically come through in the wee hours of the morning when competition is very light apparently.
With that said, the speedies are NOT impossible... only to some and that is unfortunate.
I am actually sick of seeing the "Sure, We'll do that!" page and learning to hate those that are continually winning the speedies... and I don't even KNOW them!

I'm sorry to hear that the updates to your stats didn't make much of a difference in the situation...
I completely understand your frustration and will bring this issue to our engineering and product teams to see if it's possible to reevaluate our current invitation system - but this is a long and complex discussion.

Seems I don't get responses from any other posts so I will go here again because it is related... But it seems that the help you have provided me not only did not make a difference in helping me win speedies... but now I am getting rejections for quality issues??? on the very few I do win (usually in the middle of the night when no one else is on line) that is now affecting my ratings adversly. I am getting beyond frustrated with the algorythms AND quality team. NOTHING has changed with my vocal booth or equipment. I get quality rejections for speedies... but I will get a booking the next hour and all is well with that? It just seems too coincidental that after so many months of progress and zero quality issues suddenly a "manager" gets a bug up their ... and starts rejecting me and gives ZERO chance to respond or correct the so called "issue" after I have raised concerns. What is even MORE frustrating... I see the job that was rejected going to the same pro that CONSTANTLY wins the speedies all the other times... If I had hair I would be pulliing it out by now.
30 speedy invites a day... Sitting on the page and literally clicking accept the split second it appears, wait the 30 seconds to accept. NOT ASSIGNABLE.... EVERY TIME! I will go back to the page to wait for another to come through... it does within a couple of minutes... ZING, denied again!... to THE SAME PRO... who realistically would be recording the previous one that he just accepted. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? THAT pro is raking in hundreds of dollars a day on speedies... where I waste my time. I have tallied and it is the same 2 pros getting ALL the speedies coming through... ALL of them. You guys are NOT gaining any points from those you are claiming to "help". Your algorythm is suspect and it favors a couple over others. I have maximized by browser, I have a wired HS (the fastest) internet and it has ZERO advantage. What gives??

I am having the same issues with Voicebunny and have tried to address this politely. The stat system is a bit jilted. I have been working for VB for many years and this has become a big issue in the past year. I saw a big difference when the pandemic hit and online work became saturated. I will sit at my computer awaiting an opportunity, click the email within the moment it is delivered, and the speedy is already taken. Mostly by the same voice actors. Hopefully by sharing your story it will help admin to see that the opportunities are not fair for everyone. I am grateful for the work but hope that this situation will improve as there are many of us not working that should have the same opportunities. I just wanted you to know that you are not alone!

I am puzzeled at how they expect us to improve our stats when competing against those that have an obvious advantage in the selection process. I have gotten to the point of attempting to accept the 1st couple that come through... once I see the same pro (as it is ALWAYS the same) I don't waste my time after that as I know I will fall short no matter HOW quickly I click on the link. Seriously.... sitting ON the page, mouse hovering I will hear the notification sound (there is a hiss just before it sounds) click on it the nano second it appears... wait the 30 seconds and read the project details. click the nano second the 30 seconds are up... and guess who has already accepted the job.... SAME PRO. even though they were awarded another job just a couple of moments earlier. I have a wired high speed (the fastest) cable modem internet connection and my web browser has all extesions disabled. I don't know how anyone can be any faster OTHER than getting an advantage due to their stats that will OBVIOUSLY be better based on the sheer volume of work they get. I also find it ironic that it wasnt until I raised the issue that I suddenly started to get "quality" rejections for the rare scraps I get typically at 3 or 4 in the morning when I happen to be awake and working. I am not accusing... but it just seems VERY suspicious.

I am facing the same situation, but, in another language (Latin American Spanish), I have been in contact with support and they have been very kind, but I think they must understand that times have changed, the site has grown and the way in which invite needs to be updated and improved, I am also sitting in front of the computer, I accept immediately, I wait 30 seconds and Boom! NOT ASSIGNABLE, and accepted by the same voice actor again, important this happens to me although I do not have a single rejection or expiration, I cannot imagine the day that I have a rejection,
