all of a suddden quality issues after DOZENS of accepted projects??
it is BEYOND frustrating to put HUNDREDS of hours in perfecting your sound and actually getting on a roll with projects and speedies slowly improving your stats to make yourself more visible ONLY to have a manager ding you for a quality issue that DOES NOT EXIST. Room echo??? really?? I have a professioally built sound booth with a noise floor of -66 to -70DB. I have released dozens if not hundreds of projects from this booth with ZERO issues. I have a 100% acceptance rate for bookings and I participate in speedies that are VERY DIFFICULT to actually land one of these so when I do that in itself is a bonus...ONLY to have it ripped away because a "manager" is having a bad day? Please explain... here is my submission

Same, very frustrating. Had to take some time off from BunnyStudio.
Just expressed my utter confusion at the 'room echo' qc rejection that I had, seems to be an issue for many on the platform currently.
I would understand if I was new and upcoming... but I have a specifically built recording studio with all treatments and a -70 sound floor... you can hear my heart beat. I NEVER had an issue until recently and sporadic at that. How can one recording pass and the next one done within moments and have room echo... it doesn't make sense.

1st of all... my "space" is a specifically built sound booth with 1ft thick walls and floor and double insulation. The interior is acoustically treated with proper sound deflection materials and base traps. It is why my sound floor is at -70. Room echo is not possible and the more specific "boxiness" is not echo... so I am unsure where you are coming from but to suggest I have not taken the room I record in and its treatment into consideration is a bit of an insult.
Secondly, the fact that you ended the sentence "if you remember how your setup was exactly when you recorded your samples, and nail that quality again, that would be great and I'm sure you'll have no trouble with QC ever again." with a "haha" says all I need to know about your "quality" team. Again... another slap in the face as the setup has not changed. But thanks for the subtle insults... it does wonders for the VB image.
It is difficult to take any of your considerations seriously when insulted.
It would be good for "managers" to recognize how they address those that make money for you.
have a good day
I have yet to hear from the QC team concerning my Boxiness and its been over 3 weeks.
I just got dinged again for boxiness and when I compare my recordings to OTHER pro's in my category I hear MUCH MORE boxiness from them... yet they are not being rejected. I still do not hear my boxiness.
I am VERY CURIOUS as to what frequency Hiroshi Uchida hears boxiness in my vocals. I swear you managers are beyond inconsistant when it comes to this area of quality... I can go for days with no issues and then suddenly I get dinged for boxiness?? I have been VERY METICULOUS in isolating the offending frequency and am curious as to what THIS manager is hearing. Please elaborate!
Greetings, Mac!
How do you do?
I'm Gabriela, a Pro Manager, and I'll be taking over this post for now.
Firstly, we want you to know that we are taking your matter seriously and have taken time to discuss this specifically, and all of our QC agents agree that there is room for improvement regarding boxiness.
We know our quality guidelines may be rather strict, we have recently updated them.
Our QC agents have requested, however, if you could send some pictures of your setup space to us, so our team will have a better idea of what may be causing the boxiness.
We'll review it with our QC team again.
Though we do apologize for the way the conversation may have been, we know communication by writing can be tricky. We completely understand how it can be frustrating, but we'll always do our best to help!
We'll be waiting for your reply, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Gabriela Schneider
Yes, I have the same complaint - earlier today - speedy approved by QA with no problem - a couple days ago a booking approved by QA no problem - today with same set up same studio same everything, a crap-ton of issues from QA. The only difference I can see? The time of day and the QA person is different and yes, it's the same person someone above mentioned. I guess I can't accept work at night because it's never approved. I just got reject for hiss/white noise for a recording where the noise floor is -82 dB. What gives?
