What happened to my bookings?
Hello,
In 2019 I was one of (then) VoiceBunny's top pros. Then 2020 hit and the bottom dropped out. Just last week I got a notice from Bunny Studio that my account would be inactivated because of inactivity. I have about 80 accepted samples, a decent number in each category, and have continued to add to them over the years. Can anyone tell me what happened? Have ad budgets been cut all over? Are we in a recession?
I cannot figure out what - if anything - I am doing wrong.
Hope the rest of you and faring better, and thanks for any tips, insights, or commiserations,
Joe Cullen Brown

Hey there, Joe!
How do you do?
Thank you for your comments in this regard.
We're currently researching new ways to improve our distribution of invitations throughout our Pros.
We did have an increase on the amount of Pros in our platform as you mentioned above, however, following QC guidelines, not all who are interested in our platform are accepted in out Application Process. We want to make sure our clients only get the best services our Pros can provide - and so we're always going to listen to feedback.
So I thank you for bringing this to attention. =)
I'll also bring it up with out team to see if we may provide useful tips for keywords as well!
On a side note, Joe, I have checked your account, and it seems that you were opted out of Speedies in your Rates and Preferencees! I have already made some internal changes! You may check it out on your Preferences and see if you want to change anything else there.
Keep in mind that experimenting with your rates is always valid as well! It's useful to find the rates that work the best for you - bringing in more Speedies and Contests without lowering or rising your rates too much, for example.
If you need any more assistance, please, send us an email at support@bunnystudio.com!
Kindest regards,
Gabriela Schneider
I have about 3 speedies a day from VB, and no auditions / bookings.
It's pretty much the same from other multi artist sources - but - our private bookings at the studio are through the roof. Several a day for all the usual autoattendants, safety messages, dubbings etc. All of our bread and butter jobs are more than ever - via B2B, no middleman.
What I have noticed in the industry is an influx of new VO's. The Covid period has brought a LOT of new talent to the pitch. Some is exceptional, some - my days, their voices are dreadful - yet 10/10 for persistence!
Perhaps it's the case that VB has a lot of talent available, meaning those who are pre-covid aren't getting the work they had 2 years ago?
