Pervasive issue with contests
Figured I'd ask if this is happening to anyone else or if I'm just special. :)
You get an invite to a contest, you accept it quickly, yet it says "project not assignable".
Yet when you go back to the contest page, it says you've started on your entry. But you haven't... because when you click on "Submit Audition", it keeps saying "project not assignable." So you can't upload anything. Despite your "Completed Projects" saying you're "crafting the VO".
And then the inevitable happens, the system says you didn't submit on time. You get not one, but TWO dings against you (cause the Completed Projects page lists the project TWICE).
And then you have to chronicle the situation with screen shots and such, and then email support and pray they see it before you're another year older.
I actually make a real-life living from VOs, dubbing and audiobooks working for many other studios on a weekly basis. It is becoming impossible to keep up with all the glitches that take up a LOT of time... for what? A commercial job that pays 17.00, when in the real world it would pay 250.00?
I really don't get it.
is this an issue for anyone else?
