๐ For Bookings
Your reward is based on 100% of the Rates youโve set in your profile.
When a client books you, our system uses a formula to calculate the reward using your rate structure, factoring in word count and delivery time to generate the most accurate reward possible.
๐ก Tip: Make sure your rates follow a clear Rate Progression and a pricing structure where your per-word rate stays the same or decreases as word count increases! This ensures fair pricing and improves your chances of getting invitations.

๐ Understanding Rate Progression
To increase your competitiveness, we highly recommend using a linear or descending Rate progression.
This means that, in order for the algorithm to consider you a competitive Pro, your per-word Rate should, ideally, decrease as the word count increases.
It is important to understand that the progression between sets of Rates is not a straight line.
Instead, our system connects each of your Rate points using a curve, and this will proportionally result in the Reward.
This curve smooths the transition across word counts, ensuring that the price for any script length is based on your entire Rate progression, not just two points.
As a result, rewards for projects that fall between your set word counts will always follow that curve.
This calculation is quite complex, so we've prepared a table with a set of Rates as an example below!
โ
Good Rate Progression (Descending)
This structure provides better value for longer projects, which clients appreciate (and the algorithm) prioritizes:
| Word count | Pro's Rates | Progression | Estimated Reward |
| 5 words | $5 | $1.00 | $5 |
| 25 | $0.29 | $7.20 | |
| 50 words | $10 | $0.20 | $10 |
| 150 | $0.15 | $22.50 | |
| 300 | $0.11 | $31.50 | |
| 500 words | $38 | $0.08 | $38 |
| 1,000 | $0.06 | $64.00 | |
| 5,000 words | $300 | $0.06 | $300 |
| 10,000 | $0.05 | $520.00 | |
| 50,000 words | $2,000 | $0.04 | $2,000 |
As the word count increases, the per-word rate goes down, creating a reasonable and scalable pricing model.
๐ For Speedies and Contests
The reward you see is determined by a combination of factors:
Your profileโs Rates and flexibility settings
(e.g., if your flexibility is set to 60%, we can offer projects at 60% of your base Rates or higher)
Time elapsed since the project was published
The longer the project stays unclaimed, the higher the reward becomes, up to a set maximum cap.
Client Favoriting
If the client has previously favorited your profile, the system may boost your reward amount.
๐ Projects that are more complex or left unattended for longer will see a gradual increase in reward to attract more Pros, including those with higher Rates.
โ Heads-Up:
If your Rates are higher than the projectโs maximum cap, you won't be invited to that project, even if you're a great fit. This is why it's important to review your Rate progression and flexibility settings.
