Ensuring your samples have the correct tags can be a game-changer when it comes to showing up in our search results.
Keyword tags help clients find your samples if they have what they are looking for. For instance, if a client needs the voice of a monster for a video game, and you have a sample tagged with “monster,” then they will find it in Search and book you!
How to add, remove, or update sample tags?
- Access your Samples page: Sample Management.
- Select Edit to see your sample's description:
Pros are not able to willingly change the main attributes of their samples, but are able to edit their tags at any moment. - Click on Continue:
- Edit your tags and save
What kinds of tags can I add to my sample?

- Language/Age Gender: For those, you must be approved for those skills and have those skills updated in your profile.
- Accent: Here you can add specific accents you’re doing from your country. You can be as specific as you want since we have plenty of options for you to choose from.
- Style: Here you can add the specific style you’re using for your voiceover. Is it sad? Happy? Outgoing? Professional? The possibilities are endless!
- Character: Here you can add any character/role you are playing with your voice. Are you voicing a monster or a robot or just a simple girl-next-door?
- Impression: Here you can add any famous impersonations you’re channeling in your voice over. From Morgan Freeman to SpongeBob, you can choose the option that fits your performance best.
- Pitch: What kind of pitch does your voice quality have? Are you deep, low, high pitched or neutral?
- Purpose:
- Movie trailer: Commercial advertisement for a feature film.
- Phone systems: Recording for a telephone system or IVR.
- Product videos: Recording a video that explains how a product works.
- Presentations / Educational: Recording that has an educational objective -i.e. sharing an idea TED-style-,
- Commercials / Advertising: Commercial advertisement for a brand or service.
- Characters / Videogames: Character voices or narrations for videogames or animation.
- Live announcements: Recording used at live events or to promote them.
- Audiobooks / Podcasts: Voice used for an audiobook and/or podcasts.
- Radio / TV Tags: Commercial advertisement for radio or TV.
I want to add a tag but the word doesn't exist, what do I do? This is a great question! First, try to look for a synonym. Maybe the exact word you're looking for doesn't exist, but a similar one can.
