We strongly encourage you to read all project details and specifications carefully before accepting any project. Accepting a project signals that you're ready and able to complete it on time and according to the brief.
❌ Need to Leave a Project?
Hold on! ✋
If you have accepted a project, but realized the deadline was too short - fear not!
You can also request additional time instead of having to reject the project:
But, if you realize you can’t move forward with a project at all, you can click the Reject button directly on the project page. This will release the project back to the platform so another Pro can take it on.
However, keep in mind:
-
Rejecting a project after accepting it will trigger an Expiration on your account.
-
This affects your Stats and overall reliability, which are used by the algorithm to determine how often you receive invitations.

🚦 Avoid Unnecessary Expirations: Vacation Mode
If you’re temporarily unavailable to work on projects, it’s important to set your profile to “On Vacation”. This prevents new invitations from being sent while you're away and helps preserve your Stats.
Failing to use Vacation Mode - and accumulating too many Expirations- can cause the system to pause or stop sending invitations to your account.
Important: If you set yourself on Vacation while having ongoing projects, and a Revision is requested for said project, this might cause you to be kicked out of it - and it will cause an Expiration.
This happens because of our Revision Policy.
🛠 Having Issues? Use Request Help
If something unexpected comes up after you’ve accepted a project (technical problems, misunderstanding the brief, personal emergencies, etc.), don’t reject it right away. Instead, use the Request Help feature on the project page.
Our team will step in to:
-
Assist you with any questions or concerns
-
Clarify project instructions
-
Evaluate if the rejection can be handled without penalizing your Stats
Where can I find it?
You can find the Request Help button on the top of the page, as well as on the bottom, if you scroll down!

✅ Best Practices

Only accept projects you're confident you can complete on time
-
Use Vacation Mode when you're unavailable
-
Use Request Help if you're facing difficulties after accepting
-
Reject only when absolutely necessary
By following these practices, you’ll maintain strong Stats, avoid penalties, and continue receiving high-quality invitations.
