    Thank you for sharing. I agree with the team's comments in regards to all the problems present. 

    I believe the hiss is more likely being created by the microphone. Keep in mind that USB microphones are not designed for professional recording applications. These are useful for streaming, podcasting or scratch voices, but for professional audio you need better fidelity and AD/DA conversion. You can learn more about that in our webinar Microphone 101

    As per the editing and the cuts, this is totally avoidable by cutting and fading appropriately. This is quite a manual task, but it's very important to do so to avoid damaging the overall sound of the recording and the creation of clips.
