Dear Mr Bunny, about our samples....
Hi,
I really do respect that you are trying to continually improve the site and make it better.
But when it comes to the flagging of samples, the standards seem to be inconsistently applied.
I have had several samples flagged, a couple for "quality" issues and the rest for "too short or incomplete ideas".
Strange as they all cuts from actual jobs delivered through the site made it through QC and to the client.
And all the samples were pulls from jobs, so yes some are short. 10 words spoken as a character are can't be spread out to meet an arbitrary time limit. Many of these types of reads don't have a complete thought. It is how the client laid them out.
So, perhaps you want to look at the policies and procedures for including reads and segments of reads included as part of the jobs that are done and also take a look If they don't meet your criteria, I understand, but don't penalize me for something that is done on your end.
How will you address this?

Hi Mark,
I had the same questions/issues last month as you are experiencing now. There's a lengthy thread on the topic in this same forum, which you can find here: https://help.bunnyinc.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360000520700-Random-and-confusing-email-about-rejection-of-sample-from-months-ago?page=1#community_comment_360000134460
I hope that helps!

Hi Mark!
I'm sorry that it took me some time to get back to you here. I was on sick leave last week due to a small accident I had which delayed my responses. I'm now catching up with all the pending requests.
As we shared in Staci's post, we're currently reviewing all the samples in our system regardless of how they were uploaded to your profile. We created a guide of what constitutes an effective sample to give you an idea of what we are looking for in samples and help you understand why some samples, even if they come from projects, are rejected by our team.
Taking into account your comments in regards to those samples that were automatically created, we're already thinking about ideas on how to give you the option of choosing which samples go in your profile. We know that it's not fair for us to reject and penalize your profile for samples that come from projects so we're working to see how we can make it the best way for you to actually choose which samples go in your profile when our client gives us permission. We're working on it, so any idea you have on how we can fix this problem we would highly appreciate it!
Now, we don't remove the samples for you because we want to give you the opportunity of knowing which sample was the rejected one and to understand why it was rejected. This way you can also listen to it, check it and use it as a reference to improve your work. We also thought about removing them automatically, but we don't consider this a fair process considering it's your profile and we want you to know exactly what happens to it.
Hope this makes sense and answers your questions! Your ideas, as always, are very welcome.
