Sample Feedback Inconsistent - Again
This weekend I've had two samples - and my only samples - rejected in the African American category. One was for the Florida Lottery - which was approved, paid work specifically asking for an African-American sound. However, VoiceBunny's feedback is that my sample doesn't fit the category. (?!?) How is that so? I suggest listening to the sample again. This sample has been on your website for over a year, but now I'm being asked to remove it. Why?
The other sample was a Spotify promo for two African-American rap artists. The feedback here is that the promo doesn't complete a thought or is less than 15 seconds and that the sample is heavily compressed. How am I being criticized for an incomplete thought if I didn't write the script? Is the thought "incomplete" because the reviewer is oblivious to who the artists' are and their history? Further, I have never used compression in any or my work or samples. The spot is from a VoiceBunny client and is 13 seconds. So, if the client chooses not to write a 15 second script, does that mean I can't use the spot on my profile? What really is the issue here?
The feedback is inconsistent with the actuality of the content.

Hi Ericka,
Thanks for sharing your concerns. In an effort to improve our search we are constantly reviewing samples that appear there to provide a better experience for our clients. We developed this guide were you can find our recommendations for an effective sample: https://help.bunnyinc.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000253639-What-constitutes-an-effective-sample-
This means that samples taken from projects don't necessarily meet these criteria.
Sample 145824 was flagged for incomplete idea (it's less than 15s) & has heavy compression. Make sure to add samples without much processing. Listening back to this sample, I can hear a bit of distortion.
Sample 145817 was flagged for purpose. Purpose is the category where a sample fits the most. In this case, it could've better been indexed in the 'characters' category. I also noticed this sample should've been flagged for 'incomplete idea' as it's also 13 seconds long.
Regarding length, we've had a few rejections from clients because there are cases where short samples don't showcase accents/tone/pace accurately enough. That's why we've been trying to increase the minimum length for samples. We've also noticed that longer samples tend to perform better.
Hope that helps.
