    Hi Oscar,

I  uploaded many different samples with many variations of editing, and all were rejected immediately.

I created a playlist on Soundcloud of one particular demo that I uploaded all versions of in an attempt to zero in on the issue:

    https://soundcloud.com/user-581231041/sets/editing-progression

Every sample I've uploaded has been rejected immediately upon upload. I  wonder if there's a glitch, as there's no way for there to have been time for the audio clips to be reviewed.

    Thank you for your feedback.

    Ohhhh got it, Isabella.

Have they been straight-up rejected? Or you haven't been able to even upload them?

In case it's about the second scenario, there might be a problem with the technical requirements of the audios you're attempting to upload.

You can learn more about our audio file requirements here: In which formats are audio files submitted?

Before uploading the file, please make sure it complies with the following format and recording specs:

    • Mono file -Keep this in mind, as the system won't accept stereo tracks-
    • It must be a .wav file
    • Sample rate: 44.1 khz
    • Bit depth: 16 bits.
    • Volume: -3dB

Many audio programs default to saving .wav files in 32-bit or 24-bit formats, so go back to your DAW of preference and make sure you set it to 16 bits. We recommend you make sure that you set your predetermined session to this bit depth and sample rate. That way, all the files you export will be like that by default.

If you are still having problems after reading all of the info above and following those steps, please let me know. I will be more than happy to help.

    Hi Oscar,

Your first statement was correct. The audio samples upload fine, but they are immediately rejected.

I have double and triple checked that every audio I've uploaded abides by the standards listed.

    I understand, Isabella.

Could you please delete all the samples that you see as "rejected" and try to upload just a couple of them again?

    We're checking if it's a temporary glitch.

    Thank you

I'm having this exact same issue.  I've been in VO for many years.  I have one sample on BS that I have had there for a long time.  But I wanted to upload some new samples and really get this platform working for me.  I've been on some other subscription sites and doing full-time VO work.  44.1 and 16 bit.  Less than 30 seconds and -3db normalized, mono files.  No luck.  They upload and then when I get done and go to my sample page it says rejected.  Tried and tried but no joy.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi Kevin,

This happens because your profile is currently disabled. This happened due to having more than 50% of your samples rejected.

This has an easy fix tho, please share a new sample with us, once our team approves, we'll reactivate your account and you'll be able to upload your samples again.

Let me know what you think
