    Hello Christen! How are you?

Thank you so much for reaching out!

I was listening to your audio and it indeed has some issues. Apparently, one could say it is over-processing, as the volume is not consistent throughout the recording and the voice sounds as if is fading in some parts. This is usually a consequence of over-processing with a noise gate for example.

If you are not using any processing as you are mentioning, I'm afraid that the issues must come from your equipment. Could you please specify which brand and model of soundcard and microphone are you using?

Looking forward to hear from you :).

Hope you have an amazing weekend.

    Hi Gabriel,

Thank you for responding. I am using a brand name Studio condenser microphone not sure if that was the brand but I bought it online and only has that name.

    Hello Christen!

Thanks a lot for your answer. I'm afraid that might be the issue. Maybe you are not over-processing the recording but the problem is that the equipment that you are using is not good enough to deliver a professional audio quality.

If you want, you can upload some pictures of your equipment (including the soundcard you are using) so we can check the specs of the gear and see if that is the problem.

Let me know what you think :).

Hope you are having a great week so far.

    Gabriel

    Hi Gabriel,

Here are the images of the condenser I am using. It only says studio nothing else not even a model.

    Hello Christen!

Thanks a lot for sending the pictures. I was checking the references you sent me on the internet and I'm afraid that your equipment is of a very low quality. Checking some reviews, people complain a lot of the low quality that the gear offers, so I think your problem has to do with it.

In order to achieve professional results with your voice overs, you need an excellent microphone and audio soundcard. I'm attaching the following articles where you can find different suggestions on regards which equipment you could try to get:
